3 Year Old Enrolment
Ormond Kinder maintains its own 3 year old enrolment list. All children enrolling in this program must be 3 by the 30th of April in the year they start. Please note, children will not be able to commence at kindergarten until they have turned 3. They are welcome to attend orientation days with a family member present, and must pay full kindergarten fees for term 1 in order to secure the place.
To join the registration list for a 3 year old kinder position at Ormond Kinder please fill in your details in the form below (your child must be 2 before applying).
A non-refundable fee of $25 is also payable before your registration will be accepted.
Follow payment link once form is completed.
4 Year Old Enrolment
All children enrolling in this program must be 4 by the 30th April in the year they start.
The City of Glen Eira operates a centralised enrolment system for 4 year old kindergarten positions within the municipality.
To enrol your child, please register with the City of Glen Eira Council and select Ormond Community Kindergarten as your first preference.
The Council will email the Kindergarten offers in June/July and the Kinder will contact families directly at this time.
All enquiries regarding enrolment in 4 year old kindergarten should be directed to the City of Glen Eira.
First round offers for both 3 year old and 4 year old groups are made between June and July each year.
You will be asked to provide:
- a current Immunisation History Statement from the Australian Immunisation Register - statement must show that the child is up to date with all the vaccinations they are due/able to receive.
You do not need to provide your child’s Immunisation History Statement with your Enrolment Application Form but will be asked to provide it when we collect additional enrolment documentation at a later date. The Immunisation History Statement can take some time to obtain, so please ensure you start this process now if you do not currently have an up to date Statement.
You can print a copy of your child’s Immunisation History Statement from:
What is the Participation Levy:
The participation of parents/guardians is encouraged by Ormond Kinder as we are always looking for volunteers to help the kinder with the extra bits, and can help to keep costs more affordable. However not all families are able to assist and we can appreciate that the levy will go towards replacing voluntary labour with paid labour to enhance the children’s environment.
Two Working Bees per year and additional fundraising events are held to perform general maintenance to improve service’s facilities. The $100 Participation Levy will be deducted from term 4 fees following the attendance at the working bee or fundraising event and fee payments are up to date.
