How to Join the Committee
Step 2
Complete your nomination for the role you wish to apply for.
Most roles receive one nomination only, so you are usually accepted into the position!
Step 3
Attend the AGM. The date is announced in OWNA.
Its okay if you cannot, but it is good to come along and meet the previous committee member, so you can arrange a handover of information.
Only if there are multiple people wanting the same role, does the position go to a vote at the AGM
All committee members are formally sworn in at the AGM. So, this is your start date!
Step 4
Once you have been officially accepted into the role, complete the "Things to Do" below
Committee Members must provide us with a valid working with Children Check and nominate OCK as an organisation you volunteer at, and executive positions, also require a police check.
